8th Series – Land/Water Quad with 3 Retired Guns and an Honor

31 Dogs Started this Series

Test Dogs started out this series on Thursday afteroon at 1:30 pm, beginning with "Gauge," handled by Julie Cole and then "Valley," handled by Joel Bodenman. Friday morning there was a single test dog ran, "Gauge," at 7:31 am to give handlers a fresh look at the test and then the series resumed.

The first running dog of this series was #70 FC-AFC CITORI’S SECRET ORDER, “Mason,” with handler Michael Moore. They came to the line and kicked off the 8th Series at 2:00 pm on Thursday afternoon.


The weather all during this series was sunny or mostly sunny skies and little to no breeze. Temps were pleasant in the 60s and 70s. 

Here is how things turned out for the 8th Series …
No-Bird / Re-Run (1): 45
Handles (4): 1 – 10 – 51 – 59 
Double Handles (1): 4
Pick-Ups (1): 46 – 50 – 76

Our last running dog for this Series was dog #66 
FC-AFC BOURGEOIS’ OUISIE, NOW I’M GETTING MY TURN AT BAT, “George,” with handler Thierry Mahon. They completed the test at 10:02 am.

31 dogs were sent from the line in this series, taking a total of 5 hours and 30 minutes, which averages out to be just under 11 minutes per dog. 

We will be moving on to the 9th Series shortly here at the same location! Callbacks to come here - we will post them on the blog as soon as we have them!
